You might wonder whether teaching adults or children fits you best. Here are the differences between ESOL for adults vs. kids.

Teach English Online to Kids

Parents want their children to be immersed in a second language from an early age so they can speak it fluently. They know English will open doors for their kids in the future and they are willing to invest a lot into that. Because of this, you can expect to earn $2000 to $4000 a month (or more) teaching English online to kids.

Teach English Online to Adults

Personally, I teach both adults and children. I enjoy the mix. Even so, it took me a while to figure out how to pull a steady $4000 a month teaching ESL online full-time. You can work for platforms where you market yourself, or you can work for an established company that assigns you adult students.
