Yes, Palfish hires non-native speakers! Palfish is an app that lets you teach English online and it is one of a few ESL companies that hire non-native speakers. This means you can teach from your phone or tablet. You can teach anywhere in the world! You just need a wifi signal.

Requirements to teach for Palfish

You do not need a degree to teach for Palfish!

Non-native English speaking teachers are encouraged to apply.

Just make sure you are fluent in English.

Palfish Pay

You set your own pay! The average rate is about ut $10-18 USD per hour.

Payment is made via Payoneer. You get paid once a month. I receive my pay on the 7th.

If you do not have an existing Payoneer account, you can set one up here (you will need it for the application process).

As a PalFish teacher, there is no time commitment required by you, it is totally flexible.

Step 1

Download the PalFish app here. Remember, you can teach from your phone or a tablet.

Step 2

Choose a photo to represent you on the app. Pick something that is engaging to students.

Step 3

You should write your introduction. It should be over 100 words. Make sure you state your professional qualifications and also sound personable and fun!

Step 4

You will need to record a video introducing yourself. It should be less than 30 seconds long. This is your chance to show off your English pronunciation and proficiency.

Step 5

You must fill in your payment information in “My Wallet”.

That’s it! Your account should be verified in a few days.
